Dr Azmi bin Amat Murjan
Director
Dr. Azmi joined the Board of PMB Tijari Berhad (PMB Tijari) as Director on 20 July 2023. He is the current Director of Finance at Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA).
He joined MARA in 1995 as an economic officer attached to the Internal Audit and Business Unit. From then on, he has held various positions in the areas of entrepreneurship and management in the public sector.
With over 25 years of hands-on experience in strategic planning, cost management, and financial analysis, Dr. Azmi has held key positions as State Director in Sarawak, Perak, Johor, Melaka and spent a year as Deputy Director Policy and Strategic Planning Division.
Dr. Azmi holds Ph.D. in Business Administration from Universiti Utara Malaysia after completing his MBA from the same university. Prior to that, he obtained a B.Sc. in Accounting from the University of North Carolina, US in 1994.
